| Vallejo the largest city in
Solano County is located at the crossroads of many activities.
It is at the
gateway to the Napa Valley, (beginning just North of the city at
American
Canyon), and to the gateway to the 1000 miles of waterways of the Sacramento Delta.

Vallejo is the home of Six Flags Marine World, four Golf courses and
has water access to the Napa River (Mare Island Strait) that opens boating access to
the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento Delta areas.
Vallejo's
waterfront is a host
of many festivals and activities throughout the year.
Vallejo is also home to the first Naval Yard (Mare Island) on the West Coast
which was closed in 1986 and now is becoming a new
Vallejo neighborhood. Access to the City of San Francisco is available via the BayLink Ferry System which is located at
Vallejo's waterfront.
Vallejo's mild
weather throughout the year provides a comfort
not realized by many other nearby cities.

Fair of the Future at the existing
Solano County Fairgrounds.
